The trailer of
Aanand L Rai’s Zero that has three stars in the form of Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka
Sharma and Katrina Kaif, has been amassing praises. SRK, plays a vertically
challenged man named Bauua, while Anushka Sharma plays a girl suffering from
cerebral palsy and Katrina Kaif, plays a heroine.
While, you may believe that each of these actors were content with their characters, you’re mistaken. Katrina has confessed that she literally cried and pleaded to the filmmaker to let her do the role of Anushka Sharma, but sadly, it didn’t happen. SRK, shared the video in which the trio has shed a couple of secrets and in the video, we see Katrina anxiously stating that she was indeed eyeing Anushka’s role, but that didn’t happen. In the video, we also see SRK pulling a fast one on Kat, as he asks her that she hated her own role of Babita, an alcoholic actress, to which she quickly replies that she liked her role, but she loved Anushka’s role. Anushka, on the other hand, claimed to have taken a liking to Bauua’s role and SRK, was rooting to be a superstar onscreen, like Katrina Kaif. Basically, all three of them had their eyes set on one another’s roles, but had to make do with the roles given by the filmmaker.
They spoke in good jest and by the looks of the trailer, the trio seemed to have got their characterisations bang on. Helmed by Aanand L Rai, produced by Gauri Khan, Zero is slated to release on December 21, 2018.
