After Kangana’s “Disgusting” Comment, Shahid Kapoor Says Kissing Her In Rangoon Was “Quite Keechad-y”
Shahid Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut didn’t get along too well on sets of Rangoon in 2017. Now, on Neha Dhupia’s talk show, when the actor was asked about his kiss with Kangana in the film, he stated that it was quite “keechad-y”
In 2017, Shahid Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut worked together in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon. Back then, there were rumours of the duo not getting along too well on sets as they had a feud over screen time. Yet, they promoted the film together. Now, after two years, Sasha was reminded of his kissing scene with the actress by Neha Dhupia on her chat show.
Neha asked Shahid as to what was the worst part of kissing Kangana in ‘keechad’ in Rangoon. The actor replied, "That's a really random question! Really random memories... Kuch yaad hi nahi aa raha hai. Blank ho gaya hoon main, yaar. If it was in the keechad, it was keechad-y."
In a past interview, Kangana had described kissing Shahid as “disgusting”. “Shahid’s moustache was horrible and it (kissing) would be disgusting. Then he would keep telling me that he has a runny nose which helps it to stick,” she had said. At that time, Sasha had denied making the ‘runny nose’ comment to Ms Ranaut and had replied, “I have to tell you that Kangana makes up things in her head. She has a vivid imagination. I don’t remember telling her all this at all.”
Well, Shahid’s recent comment hints that he hasn’t forgotten about her “disgusting” remark yet. On the work front, Shahid is geared up for the release of Kabir Singh on June 21, whereas Kangana will be seen in Mental Hai Kya opposite Rajkummar Rao and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s Panga.
