Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is married to actor- turned- author Twinkle Khanna and they are often seen setting couple goals as they share each other’s pictures on social media. Twinkle Khanna has written a few books already and her latest book Pyjamas Are Forgiving made her the highest-selling female author in India in the year 2018. Her two books before this, Mrs Funnybones and The Legend Of Lakshmi Prasad were praised and were declared best- sellers.
On Thursday, Akshay Kumar took to Instagram to share a picture of himself celebrating along with his wife Twinkle Khanna and English novelist Jeffrey Archer. In the caption of the post, Akshay Kumar revealed that Twinkle Khanna’s book Pyjamas Are Forgiving hit the 1,00,000 mark and at the same time Jeffrey Archer was celebrating the 40th anniversary of his hit novel Kane And Abel. The Mission Mangal actor also revealed an interesting detail that took us by surprise. The actor mentioned in his caption that he hasn’t read any of his wifey’s books or Jeffrey Archer’s!
The actor captioned the picture as “Last evening the wife was celebrating hitting the big 100,000 copies sold of her last book, Pyjamas Are Forgiving and Mr. Jeffrey Archer was celebrating the 40th anniversary of Kane and Abel. And me? Well, I was just hanging around as I have not read his books or hers”
We wonder if Twinkle Khanna knew this already or is also surprised the same way we are! Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is currently in London on a vacation with his family. He will next be seen in Sooryavanshi and has several films lined up like Good News and Mission Mangal.
