Akshay Kumar Extends His Support To Shikhar Dhawan, After Reading Cricketer’s Heartbreaking Birthday Post For His Son
Akshay Kumar took to his official social media to express his sadness at Shikhar Dhawan’s heartbreaking post on his son Zorawar’s birthday
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, on Thursday, extended his support and heartfelt wishes towards Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan. The latter had taken to his official social media handle to share a heartbreaking post on the occasion of his son Zorawar’s birthday. He had opened up about his desire to meet his son and talk to him as it has been more than a year. The actor shared the Instagram post on his stories and expressed his sadness at the cricketer’s situation.
The 56-year-old actor wrote, “Really moved to see this post. As a father, I know that nothing is more painful than not being able to see or meet your child. Hausla rakh Shikhar (Have faith)...millions of us are praying for you to meet your son soon. God bless.” Dhawan reshared the story and expressed his gratitude. ALSO READ: SHOCKING! As part of Shikhar’s post read, “It’s been a year since I saw you in person, and now, for almost three months, I’ve been blocked from everywhere so Posting the same picture to wish you, my boy, a very Happy Birthday. Even if I can’t connect with you directly, I connect with you through Telepathy. I am so proud of you, and I know you’re doing great and growing up nicely. For the unversed, Shikhar Dhawan met Aesha Mukerji, who was 10 years his senior, through Facebook. They eventually got married in October 2012 in a traditional wedding. Not only did he take care of her daughters, Rhea and Aliyah, from her first marriage but the couple went on to welcome their first son Zorawar in 2014. However, because of their messy separation, Aesha got custody of all her kids and moved to Australia. The cricketer has been blocked from contacting his son, which has left his fans furious.
On the work front, Akshay Kumar is all set to make his Marathi debut with Mahesh Manjrekar directorial Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat. He will be seen playing the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He was last seen in Mission Raniganj and OMG 2. He has Bade Miyan Chote Miyan opposite Tiger Shroff, Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, Hera Pheri 3, and the multi-starrer Welcome To The Jungle in his pipeline.
