Coronavirus is vast spreading in the entertainment industry. Many Bollywood celebrities are testing positive for Coronavirus. From Alia Bhatt, Kartik Aaryan to Aamir Khan - a lot of top celebrities are into isolation after testing positive for COVID-19. Adding to the list is Akshay Kumar. Just yesterday, Akshay dropped the news that he has tested positive and is under home quarantine. However, news has now emerged that Akshay Kumar has been hospitalised.
A report in Times of India states that Akshay Kumar has been admitted to Hiranandani hospital, Powai. He got admitted yesterday at around 5 pm, says the report. Now, Akshay even tweeted about the same and confirmed the news. The Khiladi Kumar had been shooting for his upcoming film titled Ram Setu in which he essays the role of an archaeologist. The shooting of the same was happening in Madh Island, and now it has come to a halt.
Informing all about his diagnosis, Akshay Kumar yesterday tweeted, "I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols, I have immediately isolated myself. I'm under home quarantine and have sought necessary medical care. I would sincerely request all those that have come in contact with me to get themselves tested and take care."
Apart from this, reports also emerged that 45 junior artistes who werte going to join the crew of Ram Setu from today have tested positive for Coronavirus. The film sees Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushratt Bharuchaa as the leading ladies opposite Akshay Kumar. We wish the actor speedy recovery.
