It was today morning when one of the fittest actors of Bollywood Akshay Kumar shared testing positive for COVID-19. Working round the clock since the lockdown rules were lifted, the actor has been travelling to and fro honoring his work commitment, but it was today morning the actor shared being gripped by the virus. Now his co-star of the popular Housefull series, Riteish Deshmukh wished him a speedy recovery. In his post he addressed him by his onscreen name from Housefull, as Sundi, followed by showering him with love.
Riteish Deshmukh tweeted, “Get well soon Sundi - love you @akshaykumar” Akki breaking the news today morning, wrote in his social media note, “I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols, I have immediately isolated myself. I'm under home quarantine and have sought necessary medical care. I would sincerely request all those that have come in contact with me to get themselves tested and take care. Back in action very soon.”

Akshay Kumar had just begun shooting for Ram Setu co-starring Nushrratt Bharrucha and Jacqueline Fernandez. The actor is set to play an archaeologist on screen, before kickstarting Ram Setu, he filmed for Bachchan Pandey, Bell Bottom, Atrangi Re amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
