Actress Alia Bhatt recently came under the scanner when she spoke at length about her ‘weird technique’ of applying lipstick and how her husband would advise her to wipe off her lipstick anytime they went out. That part of her interview with Vogue, instantly went viral on social media and led to an outrage amongst the netizens. From calling her a wannabe to lashing out at Ranbir for his toxic and misogynistic behaviour, many even sympathised with the actress for being stuck with a man like her husband.

Now, days later, an old video of Alia has resurfaced on Reddit where she can be seen applying her lipstick like a ‘normal person,’ rather than the moving her mouth on the lipstick technique she did in the video. As soon as the video was posted on the sub-reddit Bolly Blinds N Gossip, netizens accused her of lying to appear more quirky in front of her ever growing fan base. Netizens quickly took to the comment section of the post to bash the 30-year-old actress. One wrote, “Wipe thadddd off! Wipe thaddd off!” Another one wrote, “To appear quirky and funny, and to come across as someone with unique personality… failing at both!” Other one wrote, “I've seen another video of her saying she puts her mouth on the lipstick and not her lipstick on the mouth, the application is haphazard but doesn't matter cuz she wipes it off anyway.” One commented, “Lol I was thinking this too. For the unversed, Alia is currently busy enjoying one of the best phases of her life. They announced their first pregnancy in June 2022 and welcomed their baby daughter Raha in November 2022.
