Alia Makes Ranbir Witness Dadi Krishna Raj Kapoor's Final Journey Through A Video Call

Kapoor clan’s eldest member Krishna Raj Kapoor passed
away this morning due to cardiac arrest. She was 87 and had been keeping unwell
for a long time now. A couple of hours ago, her mortal remains were cremated at
Chembur crematorium.
During the cremation, we noticed something really
adorable between the rumoured couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, who couldn’t
be a part of his dadi’s last rites. Alia, who was present at the cremation made
sure that Ranbir, who is currently in Abu Dhabi, also becomes a part of his
grandmother, Krishna Raj Kapoor’s final journey. We witnessed Alia face-timing
with the actor at the cremation ground. Alia has saved Ranbir’s name as ‘RK’.

You may recall, this morning we brought to you a
throwback video of Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor with Krishna Raj Kapoor, where
the actor talks about Sunday brunches at his grandmother’s place. In the video,
Ranbir had then said, “We meet every Sunday at our grandmother's place where
she has this amazing spread of food, several Peshawari dishes. The entire
family comes and we spend the entire day there chatting, speaking about each
other's work and experience... hearing the time when Shammi Kapoor and Shashi
Kapoor were an actor. My grandmother used to tell us stories about my
grandfather. It's awesome just to hear these stories. It is nostalgic and it is
history."
Meanwhile, the final journey of Krishna Raj Kapoor, who
was married to actor Raj Kapoor, was attended by Bollywood biggies like Amitabh
Bachchan, Arjun Kapoor, Salim Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor and Saif
Ali Khan among others.
