Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is one such actor who is known for his striking presence on social media. From dropping his candid selfies, and giving a glimpse of his happy moments to cherishing the good old days, Big B shares almost everything with his fans on his blog and on social media. Amitabh recently left his ardent fans and everyone worried after he shared he had an accident on the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati 14 wherein he cut his left calve and was rushed to a hospital.

In his latest blog, the 80-year-old actor gave a detailed account of the accident and mentioned that the injury was serious and that he got a few stitches to stop the bleeding. Informing fans about the accident, Amitabh wrote, “A jutting piece of metal sliced my left calf and managed to cut the vein .. the vein when cut spurts out the ‘red’ uncontrollably .. but had the nerve to get the doc and so into an OT and the stitching up .. with the assistance of a team of staff and docs in time .. the throb is the control factor on KBC and it must be stated that those 3-4 hours on each episode, does take care of the … aahhh never mind .. ! its a little inoperative, but the will to continue in the similar spirit of measurement and tribe and class in range does give a hope and we cope .. its quite fresh and with opinion and advice.” ALSO READ: Happy Birthday Amitabh Bachchan: From PM Narendra Modi To South Superstar Rajnikanth Give Him Best Wishes


He further revealed that he was not even allowed to stand or move to avoid the strain.  In fact, he was asked not to even walk on a treadmill. The Shahenshah of Bollywood concluded his post by saying, “At times the satisfaction of the extreme may bring the joys or the griefs of existence .. but extremes do not and never last .. they either perish or leave an indelible mark .. at strategic places on the body or bodies .. that is an embarrassment .. takes a while to step out of it, so help me God.”

Meanwhile, Big B was spotted at his dear friend and film producer Anand Pandit's star-studded Diwali party on Saturday. The Sholay actor made heads turn in a printed silk kurta and pajama.

Work-wise, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer 'Brahmastra Part One Shiva'. He will next be seen in Sooraj Barjatya's upcoming directorial ‘Uunchai’ which also stars Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Parineeti Chopra, Danny Dengzongpa, and Boman Irani. The film will hit the theatres on November 11.
