Ananya Panday Takes A Step Ahead To Create Awareness About Online Bullying; Announces New Initiative On World Social Media Day
From trolling for their looks, statements, acting to making memes out of Bollywood and Hollywood actors, there is absolutely nothing new under the sun. And one of them who has been targeted by the netizens ever since she set her foot in Bollywood is Ananya Panday. The Student Of The Year 2 actress has faced a lot of flak from trollers and to sort of giving it back, very positively, Ananya announced her new initiative So Positive (SO+), which is aimed at creating awareness about social media bullying.

In the video, the 20-year-old actress shared how a troll attacked her for being too "thin." While some called her the “product of nepotism with no brains,” some called her a "fashion disaster." If this wasn't enough, some crossed the lines and suggested "implants." While sharing an IGTV video on her Instagram handle, she wrote, "So Positive (SO+)  A part of growing up is taking responsibility & as a woke Millennial I, Ananya Panday introduce y’all to my Digital Social Responsibility initiative 'So+' ❤️ @sopositivedsr"

Ms. Panday also talks about how many percentages of people are bullied by the trollers and to fight against that, she introduces this new initiative, So Positive to make people aware of the fact that this issue exists and is prevalent in society. Now, that's a positive change, right?

Ananya, who garnered immense appreciation for her role in SOTY 2, will be seen next in Pati Patni Aur Woh, an official adaptation of the 1978 film of the same name. The film, a Mudassar Aziz directorial, will also star Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles. The film is slated to hit the screens on December 6, 2019, battling with the Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon-starrer Panipat at the box office.
