Kartik Aaryan To Step Into Sanjeev Kumar’s Shoes For Pati Patni Aur Woh Remake
Here's news for all fans of Sanjeev Kumar and Kartik Aaryan. If latest reports are to believed, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor is set to play Sanjeev Kumar in the remake of 1978 hit Pati Patni Aur Woh
Kartik Aaryan is riding high on success. The actor, who made it into Bollywood after Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’s success, is all set to treat his fans with a remake of 1978 hit film Pati Patni Aur Woh. Yes, you heard that right! If latest reports are to be believed, Kartik is set to step into Sanjeev Kumar’s shoes.
According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Kartik has been roped in for the remake of Sanjeev Kumar and Vidya Sinha starrer Pati Patni Aur Woh. Earlier, producer Juno Chopra had told Mirror, “We were discussing a remake of his grandfather BR Chopra’s 1978 drama, Pati Patni Aur Woh.” His brother Abhay too had told the tabloid, “We are blessed to have a library of films. As long as you find a new way to tell an old story, it’s fine.”
According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Kartik has been roped in for the remake of Sanjeev Kumar and Vidya Sinha starrer Pati Patni Aur Woh. Talking about Kartik playing Sanjeev, a source close to the development has told Mirror, “Kartik loved the script and is excited to be a part of the remake of an iconic film. While the core of the story will remain the same, the makers have contemporised it so it will appeal to today’s audience. Prep has begun, the team starts shooting from February in Mumbai.”

On the work front, Kartik is currently shooting for Dinesh Vijan’s Luka Chuppi co-starring Kriti Sanon. On the other hand, the actor is said to have signed Imtiaz Ali’s next opposite Sara Ali Khan.
Let's wait and watch if Kartik will be able to give justice to Sanjeev’s role or not. Meanwhile, we await for an official announcement from the makers of Pati Patni Aur Woh remake.
