masturbation scene in Veere Di Wedding. Now looks like, after Swara, Kiara
Advani is next in line.
The actress, who also has a masturbation scene
in Karan Johar’s Netflix movie Lust Stories, has been receiving backlash.
While talking to mid-day, Kiara spoke about her
scene, she said, “The song wasn't there when Karan narrated the script to me.
But when we put the aalap in the scene, it was bang on.” In Lust Stories,
Advani portrays the role of a newly-wed who finds herself left sexually
dissatisfied by her husband, in the Netflix movie.
When asked if she had second thoughts about the
scene she said, "Does it look like I had any inhibitions? Once in the
moment, I just went for it! I trusted Karan completely. I think we made an
iconic scene in that. But, beneath the humour is a serious subject that needs
to be addressed."

She further added, “Who says no to Karan? I said
yes even before he narrated the script to me. A KJo set is chilled out. We used
to get our dialogues the night before and he made us improvise on the set,
which made it so wild."

While talking to another leading website, the
actress spoke at length about her masturbation scene. She said, “Lust stories
had a few bedroom scenes. For me it was something, I was doing for the first
time. I was new and I wasn’t quite comfortable. However, Vicky (Kaushal) made
me feel very comfortable and so did everybody else and then we shot it. In
fact, it was so easy to work with him because he is genuinely a wonderful
person and a lovely actor as well.”
