It was about two weeks ago that Anupam Kher took to his social media to inform that his wife and actress-politician Kirron Kher has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer. He revealed that she is undergoing treatment for it and is being looked after by a phenomenal set of doctors. Soon, many Bollywood stars and followers prayed for her speedy recovery. Outlander stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe were also among those who enquired about Kirron Kher’s health and sent their caring messages for her.

Anupam Kher took to his social media to thank Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe for showing their concern and for their wonderful message for Kirron. He wrote that Kirron loves them and the show Outlander, and is touched by their thoughtful gesture. “Thank you @caitrionambalfe and @SamHeughan for your wonderful & caring message for @KirronKherBJP. She is a great admirer of both of you and your show @Outlander_STARZ. She is deeply touched by your thoughtful gesture. And so am I. Looking forward to #Season6. Stay safe,” wrote Anupam Kher.

Sam Heughan extended an invite to Anupam Kher and Kirron Kher asking them to visit the set, and said that he would love to show them around. “Sending much love and wishes. If you both want to visit set one day, let me know, love to show you both around.” 


Anupam Kher, in response, wrote that he and Kirron will definitely visit the Outlander sets once Kirron feels better, and the situation with the Coronavirus pandemic is controlled. “Thank you so much for your generosity @SamHeughan!! When #Kirron is feeling healthier and the world is a good place to travel freely we both will take that offer and visit the sets of @Outlander_STARZ! Keep up the great work my friend!”
