Power couple Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are the ones who always work for the welfare of animals. Considered to be the biggest lovers of animals, the two have joined forces for animal welfare work in the past. Similarly, this time around, Anushka and Kohli came together for a new video to give a big shoutout to Shiv Sena leader Rahul N Kanal for doing work for animal welfare. Recently, Rahul shared a video of the couple on his Instagram feed where they are seen thanking him for his philanthropic work.
In the video, the Band Baaja Baaraat actor was heard saying, "We think it is absolutely incredible the kind of work your foundation has been doing in the field of animal welfare and just want to give you a huge shoutout and congratulate you and your foundation for the incredible work you've been putting in.” While the Indian Skipper chimed in and said, “And we also want to say that any kind of help from our end that's required to continue this noble deed of yours, we would be happy to help and wish you all the best.”
Calling them superhumans, Rahul backed the video with, “Thank you @anushkasharma @virat.kohli @vkfofficial can’t thank you enough for always being there for our foundation and our four-legged friends… your kind words of appreciation shall surely motivate us to do our bit and keep going !!! Thank you Captain and Mrs. Captain for being the Superhumans you both are !!!"
A while back, Virat had announced that his foundation has collaborated with Vivaldis Animal Health care. He also mentioned it was Anushka Sharma, her passion for animals and her advocating for animal rights that inspired him to take the thoughtful step.
