Anushka Sharma On Resuming Work Post Delivering Her Baby: ‘Will Establish A System To Ensure That I Balance Time Between My Child, Home And Shooting’

In August, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli made the baby announcement and the Pari actress has been treating us with baby bump pictures ever since. After returning to Bay, the mom-to-be resumed work and was snapped by shutterbugs all glowing and happy. Amid the pandemic, pregnant Anushka Sharma is ensuring that all the necessary precautions and safety measures are taken care of and protocols are followed as she fulfils her brand commitments. During her latest interview, preggers Anushka opened up on her work plans post welcoming the baby in Jan 2021. The actress says she’s planning to resume her professional life very soon after delivery.
Speaking to Bombay Times, Anushka Sharma said that she will establish a system at home to ensure that she’s balancing time between baby, home and professional life. Mrs. Kohli told BT, “I will be back to my shoots after I deliver my child, and will establish a system at home that ensures I can balance time between my child, home and professional life. I intend to keep working for as long as I live because acting truly makes me happy.”
Speaking about shooting amid pandemic, Sharma said, “I had to be sure that the sets are going to be a safe place to shoot because I would be shooting during the pandemic. Though I was looking forward to shooting again, I was also careful that all the precautions were being taken. I’m thankful to everyone for following all the necessary steps for me to shoot. The virus is here to stay and we have to embrace the new normal and deal with coronavirus with the strictest precautions, which is what I have done.”

Anushka Sharma revealed that being on the set brings her a lot of joy and she’s going to be shooting continuously for the next few days. “It’s been great being on the set, meeting my entire team and soaking in the madness of a shoot. This year has been tough for our industry, but I’m happy to see it restart with the same amount of passion and energy,” she added.
