A day after the open firing at Salman Khan’s residence in Bandra, actor and filmmaker Arbaaz Khan took to his official social media handle to release a statement regarding that matter. It was on Sunday, early morning, around 5 am, when two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle fired four gunshots outside Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, Mumbai. Ever since, many individuals have spoken to the media and expressed their views on the stunt. While some claimed that it was a publicity stunt, others stated that the family was fine.
Now, amidst all the reports, Arbaaz took to his Instagram. Through an official statement he expressed that no one should believe in the ‘loose statements’ made by people ‘pretending to be the spokesperson.’ He urged the fans to not take such statements seriously. Posting the statement without any caption, a part of his statement read, “Our family has been taken aback by this shocking incident that took place. The 56-year-old actor went on to add that the entire family is cooperating with the officials in the investigation of the incident. He wrote, “No member of the Salim Khan family has made any statement regarding this incident to the media. At this time the family is helping and cooperating with the police in the investigation of this untoward incident. We have faith in the Mumbai police and we have been assured they will do everything in their capacity to protect and secure our family. If the reports are to be believed, Bishnoi’s gans is behind the firing incident and the attack was carried out by Rohit Godara, who operates the gang in Rajasthan. One of the accused has been identified as Vishal aka Kalu. He works in Godara. The officials have sought help to get a background of the accused and help them trace them or their families.
According to a report by the FPJ, the Bandra police registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the “unidentified person,” under Section 307 (attempt to murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Arms Act. A photo of the two alleged accused has also surfaced on the internet, leaving the netizens fuming. If reports are to be believed, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's brother Anmol Bishnoi, took responsibility for the shooting that happened outside Salman Khan’s apartment. He made the shocking revelation through a social media post on Facebook.
