Arjun Kapoor Is Thrilled To Work With John Abraham For Ek Villain Returns, Former Says ‘John Owns The Action Genre’
Arjun Kapoor who is busy promoting his upcoming movie Bhoot Police, is thrilled to begin shooting his next Ek Villain Returns with John Abraham. Though the two have worked together in Sardar Ka Grandson, as actor and producer, John was seen in a cameo in Arjun’s Sardar Ka Grandson. Hence, now the young actor is looking forward to work with John. Ek Villain Returns also marks Arjun’s reunion with Mohit Suri who directed Half-Girlfriend. During his interaction with Pinkvilla, the Gunday actor said, John ‘owns the action genre’.

All set to begin shooting Ek Villain Returns, he said “We didn’t share the screen space in Sardar Ka Grandson. He was the producer along with Nikkhil sir (Nikkhil Advani) and T Series. We have not shot together for Ek Villain yet, but I am looking forward to doing that soon. I think, once Bhoot Police releases, I will be getting into shooting with him.” The Ishqzaade actor is excited as he will be doing some action sequence along with John Abraham

“He is somebody who obviously owns the action genre for what he has been doing over the last couple of years. I am really excited to get on set and do the action scenes with him. I don’t want to reveal too many details because there is a surprise in store for everybody who watches it,” said Arjun.

Speaking about his reunion with Mohit Suri who also directed his movie, Half Girlfriend, he expressed being happy as he is set work again with Mohit. He hopes the team will be able to deliver something that is different and commercial as well.  “Am happy to be working with Mohit again. I am certain that between Tara (Sutaria), Disha (Patani), John, Mohit and I, we will be able to present something that’s commercial yet pushing the envelope. It’s exciting to know that we have a really dynamic film coming out next year. From whatever I have shot, I am happy to be a part of it,” said Arjun.
