Arjun Rampal’s Mother Passes Away, Loses Battle With Cancer

Arjun Rampal’s mother, Gwen Rampal, who was battling breast cancer for years, passed away on Saturday evening. The actor performed the last rites of his mother in the evening where, his friends from the film fraternity paid their last respects. Arjun Rampal’s Paltan co-star Harshvardhan Rane arrived with Kim Sharma, director Abhishek Kapoor came with his wife Pragya Kapoor.

Arjun Rampal’s ex-wife Mehr Jessia too attended the funeral with their kids and the trio paid their last respects to Gwen Rampal. The actor was accompanied by his rumoured girlfriend, Gabriella Demetriades. 

This afternoon, Arjun putout an emotional post, which read.. After a long and successful fight my mother fought with her cancer, she breath her last on the 27th of Oct. In the time of our grievance, I just know that I have many people to thank and be grateful to, for giving her those extra years with us. A few months back, Arjun had shared a video on social media where he spoke in details about his mother’s fight against cancer. In the video, the actor had said, “Cancer is becoming more and more epidemic these days. My mother underwent a treatment for it and was cured. But 10 months later, cancer metastasized into her lungs and then with the help of my friend, we went to Champali Maud Foundation research centre in Lisbon.”

Rampal had also shared his experience on social media and written, “It’s been a roller coaster ride for my Mom and the whole family.Then my friend @LalitKModi introduced us to the #Champalimaudfoundation eternally grateful to him, #CarloGreco and his wonderful team.
