The actress known for her role as young Babita Kumari Phogat in the film Dangal, passed away at the age of 19 in Delhi due to complications from dermatomyositis, a rare autoimmune disease. Her father revealed that two months ago, Suhani began experiencing swelling in her hands, which later spread to her entire body. Despite multiple consultations with doctors, the disease remained unidentified until her admission to AIIMS. The treatment involved steroids, which impacted her immune system, leading to weakened immunity.
