theatre with That’s My Girl!

It’s the story of a young girl who travels to Mumbai to
try her luck in the world of movies. But that’s not the only motivation she has
to move to the City Of Stars. She also wants to meet her father, who had left
her and her mother, 20 years ago, never to return.
The interaction between the daughter (a wannabe film
actress) and the father (a veteran film writer) forms the crux of the story.
It’s a comedy peppered with heart-rending moments.

The play not only looks at all the familiar aspects of a
father-daughter relationship but also gives you a peek into the
not-so-glamorous realities of Bollywood.
The play premieres on March 17 and will feature
Anant Mahadevan alongside Shweta Rohira.
