Did Sanjay Leela Bhansali And Salman Khan Have Creative Differences Over Inshallah? - EXCLUSIVE
Announcement of Inshallah created a lot of buzz in the industry, first for reunion of Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali after several years on the celluloid and second for getting Alia Bhatt and Salman Khan opposite each other for the very first time. The movie was supposed to release on Eid 2020 and the film was supposed to go on floors in September, but with their creative differences, the movie has fizzled out.

But just a week before the film went on floors, news came in that Inshallah has been scrapped and Sanjay Leela Bhansali decided to shelve the project.  SLB productions tweeted about the same too. Since then there have been speculations about why such a mega starcast film was shelved at the last minute. When we did some digging, our source told us that Bhansali took some bold decision as the ace filmmaker didn't appreciate the constant interference in his artistic vision.

A source says, "Sanjay Leela Bhansali respects and loves his actors and suggestions are welcome but not if they aim to alter the narrative. Hence, he has taken the decision to shelve the film. However, they are still friends and Sanjay Leela Bhansali has immense love and respect for him."

Clearly, Salman Khan's constant interference didn't go down well with the National Film Award Winning director and hence he decided to shelve the film. Though there seems to be an announcement waiting to happen under the SLB banner, Salman on the other hand has moved on and decided to produce a brand new film under his banner, Salman Khan Films which will release on Eid 2020.
