The sudden passing of renowned Bollywood filmmaker Satish Kaushik left the entertainment industry in shock. The actor, at the age of 66, breathed his last on March 8 due to a heart attack. He was in Delhi visiting a friend, when he started feeling restless and uneasy. On his way to the hospital, he passed away. His post-mortem reports suggested that no injury mark was found on his body and he had passed away due to a cardiac arrest.
While everybody is busy recovering from the news of losing him, a recent report by IndiaTV states that during their visit at the filmmaker’s farmhouse, where he had stayed during his last visit, the crime team of Delhi's South-West district recovered some medicines. According to the report they are now probing into his untimely demise and are awaiting a detailed post-mortem report. ALSO READ: WHAT! ANI has reported that on the day of Kaushik’s passing a party was organised at his farmhouse, which belonged to a wanted industrialist. As per the news agency the industrialist is wanted in some case. They are planning to go through the guest list to find out who was present at the farmhouse for the party. Talking about the objectionable medicine packets that were recovered from the farmhouse, include “Digene and regular sugar medicines.” There are still some medications that are being investigated by the officials. It is also being reported that the ‘wanted industrialist’ present at the party was Kaushik’s close friend Vikas Malu. For the unversed, Malu’s wife had lodged an FIR of rape against him, which is currently under investigation.
The late actor is survived by his wife Sashi and their 10-year-old daughter Vanshika.
For the unversed, Satish Kaushik was an alumnus of the National School of Drama and Film and Television Institute of India. After starting his career in theatre, he went on to make a name for himself in Bollywood as an actor, director, producer, screenwriter and a comedian. He will be last seen in Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency.
