The second edition of Bigg Boss OTT is all set to drop on Jio Cinema. However, fans are excited to know which celebrities will make the cut in the second season of Bigg Boss OTT. While several names of potential contestants have cropped up, the latest report suggests that Munawar Faruqui has also been approached for the show. The comedian has been in consideration for quite some time now.
It was also speculated that Faruqui could be hosting some segments of the show. Notably, Munawar Faruqui seems to have refused to be a part of the same as he wants to do the TV version of the same show.
Well, that’s understandable owing to his popularity and TV version of Bigg Boss is considered to be the real deal. Incidentally, it is understandable as it is considered to be the real thing.
Meanwhile, another name that has been doing the rounds is - Jannat Zubair Rahmani. As per the reports, the actress packed a punch on Rohit Shetty's Khatron Ke Khiladi 13. However, the actress does not seem to be interested in the offer. Jannat has maintained that she is not someone who is cut out for Bigg Boss. She has often claimed herself to be an introvert and would falter in a personality-driven high drama show like Bigg Boss.
However, ideas and people do change!
Currently, she is the highest-paid contestant on Khatron Ke Khiladi 12, and has a colossal fanbase of over 46 million followers on Instagram. The channel is trying hard to bring in new fan bases as they saw the effect in Bigg Boss 16 with MC Stan. Apart from Munawar and Jannat a slew of names for Bigg Boss OTT have been doing the rounds.
The other names doing the rounds are Zaid Darbar, Faisal Shaikh, Jiya Shankar, Fahmaan Khan, Anjali Arora, Sambhavna Seth, Poonam Pandey, Aditya Narayan and others.
Divya Aggarwal was crowned as the winner in the first season of the show and she won over everyone with her candid and fiery attitude. The first edition of the show was hosted by Karan Johar.
Bigg Boss OTT 2 will start at the end of June or July. The show will run for six weeks. We wonder how Salman Khan will manage to take out dates for both these shows.
