Blackbuck Poaching Case: Jodhpur Court Warns Salman Khan Over His Absence From Hearings
The hearing for Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s appeal against Rajasthan Court’s verdict in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case was held at the Jodhpur Court today. However, the actor did not show up for his hearing. As a result of this, the Jophdpur Court gave a warning to the actor.

According to ANI, Salman Khan’s bail in the Blackbuck poaching case will be rejected if he doesn’t appear before the court in the next hearing. The Jodhpur court gave out this warning after the actor failed to show up for his hearing today. As per a report in News Nation,  Judge Chandra Kumar Songara had earlier asked the actor's team of lawyers to ensure that everyone was present in the next hearing in July that was scheduled for July 03 but got postponed by a day. Even so, the actor did not turn up.


In his appeal, actor Salman Khan had challenged the High Court’s verdict which sentenced the actor to five- year jail term as the actor allegedly shot two blackbucks in Bhagoda ki Dhani in Kankani village near Jodhpur during the shooting of his film ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’.His co-stars in the film  Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Neelam Kothari, Tabu and Dushyant Singh also received notices on May 20, in connection with the case.

In other news, Salman Khan will be next seen in Dabangg 3 and was also reported to be working on shedding a few kilos for his role in the movie as young Chulbul Panday. The film is directed by Prabhudeva and will star Sonakshi Sinha and Salman Khan in the lead roles.
