The news came today morning; just to give you a quick lowdown on this case, State government had challenged the verdict on the acquittal of actors such as Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Neelam Kothari, Sonali Bendre in May 2019 by Jodhpur bench of the Rajasthan High Court. State government had challenged by stating that these actors were equally responsible for this heinous act. All these actors along with Salman Khan were involved in hunting and killing blackbuck while they were shooting for Hum Saath Saath Hai (1998).

While Salman was convicted for 5 year imprisonment by Chief Judicial Magistrate under Section 51 which deals with Wildlife (Protection) Act; the others were freed from the case due to insufficient evidence to prove them equally guilty in the case. However, the further development on this is still awaited. Currently Khan is functioning in the industry on bail, till the final verdict of the High Court is released.

Salman along with the other actors is accused of killing of Chinkara and Blackbuck in two separate incidences. Khan is currently shooting in Jaipur for Dabangg 3 co-starring Sonakshi Sinha. A video of Salman petting a Camel on the film location was shared on his Instagram account.
