Ankit Tiwari: I don’t know if there will be any other composer like Pancham Da. Every experiment that we do today has been done by him long ago. He has set a benchmark for all the new composers.
Udit Narayan: Talking about him would be like suraj ko diya dikhana. I am so proud that we had a composer like Pancham Da who was so experimental. His melodies were so fresh and modern. His music will always keep him alive and we will always keep learning from it.
Ehsaan Noorani: I look at him as one of the best song writers of Bollywood.
Abhijeet: Bhagwan sirf ek baar hote hain aur ek he baar honge. RD’s music can never get old as whatever he composed then was with the help of instruments. He created sounds unlike the composers today who depend solely on technology. His music has made him immortal and no new- age composer can even think of replacing him.
Meanwhile a few others took to Twitter and paid tributes to Pancham Da.
