Boney Kapoor dearly misses his late wife and actress Sridevi after her sudden death and the producer has left no chance expressing his feelings for her. The entire Kapoor family was left in shock after the sudden demise of the star, have finally accepted fate but still miss the actress. Being a tough one on Boney Kapoor and girls Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor, the family reminisces the memories of the late actress on her 56th birthday. Boney Kapoor who loved his wife breaks in tears as he talks about her in a recent interview.
On the occasion of Sridevi’s birthday, Boney Kapoor opens up about the English Vinglish star in an interview with BehindWoods TV. The interview is shot at the Chennai Production office of Boney Kapoor. The video gives us a tour of the office wherein we see the pictures of the Kapoor family and mainly late Sridevi from her childhood and her films. The video features paintings based on women made by Sridevi as she was an artist in herself. In the video, Boney Kapoor talks about his late wife and is in tears remembering her. He says, “She was a legend in her lifetime and she remains a legend after she has left us. She may have left for the world, but for me, for us, she is still around. She is wishing us well and taking care of us and is still around.” As the producer talks about his late wife, he chokes up.
The producer also talks about how the late actress wanted to work more and was waiting for better scripts. The actress also wanted to do more tamil films as her fans in the tamil cinema missed her. The producer also spoke about how his beloved life remains a legend even after she has left them. On the success of her film Mom, that crossed RS 100 Crores in China, even post the demise of the actress, Kapoor says that's what legends are made of. Boney Kapoor reveals his weight loss journey, as he followed the diet fixed by Janhvi and lost about 12 kgs. The producer jokes as to how he couldn’t lose weight on the insistence of late Sridevi, he also discussed his love for Andhra and Chettinad cuisine, sweets and milkshakes. Boney fondly remembers the actresses’ control over food and sweets despite having a sweet tooth. Boney Kapoor talks about how Sridevi’s daughters have managed to do something about his weight after the actress and also revealed the clothes he now fits in were brought along with Sridevi.
