Amey Wagh To Play A Negative Role In Sacred Games 2 That Releases Soon
Amey Wagh, who is in the headlines for his recent success ‘Girlfriend’, has revealed to a leading Marathi newspaper that he is going to play a negative role in the upcoming crime-thriller web series Sacred Games 2.
It is not a secret that Sacred Games is the most awaited series of this year, thanks to its intriguing storyline and engaging performances by the cast. Amey Wagh is excited to work with Sacred games director Neeraj Ghaywan who also directed the critically acclaimed ‘Masan’. This story is based on Vikram Chandra's 2006 novel ‘Sacred Games’.
The story revolves around Sartaj Singh played by Saif Ali Khan and arch enemy, Ganesh Gaitonde, God of the underworld played by Nawazuddin Siddhiqui. Sartaj has 25 days to save Mumbai from a sinister plan. The chain of events unfold the dark side of our political and social system that will send shivers down the spine. Kalki Koechlin, Pankaj Tripathi, Ranvir Shorey, Luke Kenny, Surveen Chawla and Jatin Sarna play important roles in the plot.
Amey will share most of the screen space with Saif Ali Khan and will be a significant character in this season. Fans can’t wait to discover more about it but Amey maintains the suspense.
