Sridevi’s untimely death came as a rude shock to all. A few days back, the family immersed her ashes in the holy waters of Rameswaram. Now as per a report in DNA, Boney will offer prayers for his late wife at Haridwar.
“Conducting prayers at Haridwar is a significant custom for Hindus, especially for those who are from North India. And Boney wants to ensure that he goes through the rituals at the holy place," said a source to DNA.
It is also reported that the prayers in Chennai at Sridevi’s hometown, will not be held on the 13th day are scheduled on the 16th day.
Post her demise, Boney Kapoor had put out a heartfelt post on social media where he wrote, “Losing a friend, wife and mother of your two young daughters is a loss inexplicable in words. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my family, friends, colleagues and well-wishers and all of you countless fans of my Sridevi who have stood by us like rocks. I am blessed to have the support and love of Arjun and Anshula, who have been such pillars of strength for myself, Khushi and Janhvi. Together, as a family we have tried to face this unbearable loss.”
