Buzz: Ananya Panday To Star Opposite Ishaan Khatter In Ali Abbas Zafar’s Debut Production
A recent report suggests that Ananya Panday has been roped in to star opposite Ishaan Khatter in Ali Abbas Zafar’s debut production
Ananya Panday has become B-town's new favorite after her debut film Student Of The Year 2. Standing up against issues like social media bullying, with So Positive- Digital Social Responsibility initiative, she is perfectly striking a balance between her work life and responsibilities towards the society. News reports have it that the actress has landed a meaty role in acclaimed director Ali Abbas Zafar's first production venture. Though nothing much has been revealed about the said project, it is also said that Ishaan Khatter has also be roped in for the same.
A couple of weeks ago, news of Ali Abbas roping in Ishaan came to light, but nothing was officially confirmed. According to a Bollywood Hungama report, it is being stated that Ananya will be pairing opposite the actor. The film will be directed by Varun Sharma, who was assisting Ali in his work from quite some time now.
Zafar's last outing Bharat brought Salman Khan back in the game, as the film went to collect 200 crore at the box-office. So far, Zafar has directed films such as Mere Brother Ki Dulhan starring Katrina Kaif and Imran Khan, Sultan where he directed Anushka Sharma and Salman and Tiger Zinda Hai starred his all time favourite couple Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan.
While Ishaan was praised for his performance in Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi’s Beyond The Clouds, he was equally praised for his second outing Dhadak opposite Janhvi Kapoor. Ananya who is just one film old, has Pati, Patni Aur Who opposite Kartik Aaryan in her kitty.
While the film will gives us a fresh pair on celluloid, Ali will also take a break from his directorial responsibilities this time.
