Swara Bhasker Receives Flak For Saying ‘Mughals Made India Rich’; Netizens Attack Her On Social Media
Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker is known in the industry for her bold and opinionated views. Right from politics to Bollywood, Swara shares her views quite openly on social media.  As a consequence of this, she has also been slut-shamed, trolled and slammed for speaking out her mind but that has never stopped the actress from posting her opinions on social media.

The Veere Di Wedding actress is in the limelight once again as she receives flak and gets trolled by the Twitterati for her recent tweet. She recently shared an old article on Twitter which was titled 'Mughals didn't loot India.’ The article argues that Mughals made India rich, and that Hindus were richest under them. The article, by historian Rana Salvialso mentioned that even though the Mughals came to India as conquerers, they remained as Indians.  Swara, while sharing this article, captioned her Tweet as, “Mughals made India rich.. #history #fact.”


Her tweet was instantly flooded with netizens trolling Swara incessantly. While some called it a publicity stunt, others argued the facts and said it was utter nonsense. Check them out here:










A day later, Swara posted another tweet saying, “I shared a 2 year old article by a historian (legit historian not what’s app and twitter types) arguing against the Sanghi stereotype that ‘Mughals looted india’ and Hindu right wing cyber universe went BATSHIT CRAZY! Most have not read them article. Just another day on #Twitter”


The Twitter war seems to be endless as people kept stating facts and challenging her. But as the actress says, this is in fact just another day for her on Twitter!
