BUZZ: Shah Rukh’s Raees & Hrithik’s Kaabil Set To Release In Pakistan
Pakistani media has reported that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has officialy green-lit the screening of Indian films in the country
They are currently battling it out in Indian theatres and now Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees and Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil may lock horns in the filmi arenas of Pakistan too.

Pakistani press has reported that the country’s Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif has given the official go-ahead to the screening of Indian films.
According to a report published in The Express Tribune, Pakistan's Ministry of Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage, has published a gazette notification dated January 31, 2017, stating that "the Federal Government (of Pakistan) is pleased to continue the existing policy to display all international movies (including Indian films) in Pakistani cinema and is pleased to take decisions for revival of the Pakistani film industry".
The Express Tribune report further says that if the formalities are completed in time, Kaabil will be released on February 3 and Raees on February 10 in Pakistan.

The escalating tension between India and Pakistan had hit Bollywood hard. After the Uri attack in September 2016, Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) had banned Pakistani artists and many Pakistani stars including Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan had to return to their country. In retaliation Pakistani film exhibitors decided that they will boycott Indian films.
Pakistan is considered the third biggest market for Indian films and according to the reports, after the ban on Indian films, the theatres were empty despite screenings of Hollywood movies.
Earlier reports had also claimed that Aamir Khan’s Dangal is set to release in Pakistan but that did not come to fruition.
