CONFIRMED! Farhan Akhtar Set To Make His MCU Debut With 'Ms. Marvel', Actor To Play A 'Guest Starring Role' -DEETS INSIDE
Farhan Akhtar is all set to make his MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) debut. He will appear in the upcoming series 'Ms. Marvel'
Farhan Akhtar is one of the most loved stars in the industry. He is always in the news because of his upcoming projects and personal life. Talking about professional, well, it has been confirmed that the actor will be seen in Ms. Marvel. The Disney+ series under Marvel Studios' will mark the actor-director's MCU debut.
The news of his addition to the series was reported by Deadline. The publication has kept the details under wraps but has confirmed that the actor-director will be seen as a 'guest-starring role'. It will be a treat for his fans to watch him in the series.
On Saturday, Farhan took to Instagram to confirm the news. He wrote, "Grateful that the universe gifts these opportunities to grow, learn and in this case a ton of fun while doing it." Besides that, Fawad Khan is also a part of the series. He had previously confirmed he is in the series. Speaking to Film Companion, Fawad had said, "Yeah, I am. Woh toh main deny nahi kar sakta, ab toh main jhooth nahi bol sakta, woh toh unhone khud news laga di hai."
Earlier this year, the Ms. Marvel trailer was released and it introduced Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel. It gave a glimpse of Kamala experiencing issues that teenagers face. Her life changes after she gets superpowers like the heroes she's always looked up to.
Apart from Farhan, Fawad and Iman, the series also includes Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Yasmeen Fletcher, Azhar Usman, Travina Springer, Laith Nakli and Nimra Bucha. It is directed by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, Meera Menon and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy.
On the other hand, Farhan is currently helming Jee Le Zaraa. It stars Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. Fans are excited for it.
