The couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl on Friday and named her Devi Basu Singh Grover. The new parents took to their respective special media handles to announce the birth of their daughter via a joint statement and posted the first glimpse of their newborn daughter. Bipasha and Karan shared their baby girl’s feet calling her the “physical manifestation of their love.”
Announcing the arrival of their first child, the couple shared a statement that read, “The physical manifestation of our love and blessings of Ma is here now and she is divine.” The cute announcement post showed the hands of the actors as they held their daughter’s feet. Soon after the new mom shared this good news, heartfelt congratulatory wishes started pouring in from their loved ones and industry friends. Bipasha and Karan, who got married in 2014, had first met and fell in love on the sets of their 2015 film Alone. In August, they announced expecting their first child by sharing a stunning photo shoot. In an interview, Bips revealed that she and Karan have been trying for a baby before the Covid-19 pandemic, but they dropped the idea after the pandemic brought lives to stand still. “In 2021 we decided to try again, and God has been kind, we conceived. “It was a very emotional day. I remember me and Karan ran to my mother’s house just the way we were, she was the first person I wanted to tell,” the actress had said while speaking to Hindustan Times.
