Bad news from the
sets of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-Anil Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao starrer Fanney Khan. A
crew member got injured on the film sets recently.
According to an online portal, the scene was being shot on the road, and a
motorbike crashed into a crew member — a third assistant director — while she
was crossing the road. She fell on the ground and was immediately taken to the
hospital nearby.

"In an
unfortunate accident yesterday, one of the assistant directors of our film —
Fanney Khan — suffered some injuries during the shoot in Mumbai when a motor
cycle rider crashed into her. She was immediately given first aid and taken to
the hospital for further treatment. She is completely fine now and will soon
join the crew for the shoot. The police are dealing with the errant
motorcyclist as per the due process of law," read a statement from the
producers of the film – KriArj Entertainment, Arjun N.Kapoor
and Prernaa Arora.

Talking more
about it, Fanney Khan is the Hindi adaptation of the 2000 Dutch release
Everybody's Famous directed by Dominique Deruddere, which was also nominated in
the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 73rd Academy Awards.
The film is
directed by debutant Atul Manjrekar and is based on the story of a 17-year-old
aspiring singer whose career takes off after her unemployed father, who also
harbours the dreams of becoming a musician, decides to kidnap the top singer of
the country.
Anil Kapoor With Aishwarya Rai Bachchan In Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai
Fanney Khan also
marks Aishwarya and Anil Kapoor’s collaboration after 17 years. The two last
shared screen space in Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai. Fanney Khan also stars
Rajkummar Rao who will be starring opposite Aishwarya for the first time in the
film.
