Deepika Padukone Enjoys A Delightful Sunset With Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday And Shakun Batra; Sid Gives A Sneak-Peek By The Sea
Deepika Padukone is back to the grind! After spending some quality time with husband Ranveer Singh during the lockdown, due to COVID-19, Deepika had dashed off to Goa to kick-start the shoot of Shakun Batra’s next, which is touted to be a domestic noir. Shakun Batra’s upcoming directorial also stars Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi aka Gully Boy’s MC Sher. After wrapping up the Goa schedule, the trio was often snapped by the shutterbugs while shooting in the city. This morning, the star cast left for Alibaug to begin another schedule of the film.

A while back, Siddhant took to social media and gave us a sneak-peek into their boat ride and a delightful sunset they’ve enjoyed while on their way to Alibaug. MC Sher shared a picture featuring Deepika Padukone and Shakun Batra, with an enchanting view. On his Insta stories, Siddhant shared another silhouette picture featuring the entire cast of the film with the director. In the caption box, Siddhant called everyone sunset lovers.

Shakun Batra’s next is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Deepika, Siddhant and Ananya in the leading role. Its first schedule was wrapped in Goa, last month and it is expected to release early next year.

Earlier speaking about Shakun Batra’s film, Dippy had told HT, “Although the overall tonality of the film is slightly lighter than my last film, in terms of inner, emotional turmoil my character goes through, it’s quite challenging. The overall genre of the film is something we haven’t seen much in Indian cinema; it’s called domestic noir. I don’t think that’s a genre we are very familiar with, but at the same time, the audience is completely ready for it, as we have been exposed to that genre in different ways, whether through Hollywood films or OTT platforms. What I enjoy and look forward to, as far as this film is concerned, Shakun has this strong point with people and relationships. As an audience/ actor I have enjoyed watching and performing these sort of films, whether Piku (2015), Tamasha (2015), Love Aaj Kal, films that deal with intricate human relationships.” (ALSO READ: Deepika Padukone Is 'Certainly Not Complaining' About Lockdown And The Reason Is Hubby Ranveer Singh)
