Deepika Padukone On Working With Ranveer Singh: ‘We May Not Even Sometimes Drive Together Because We Are In A Different Head Space’

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are undoubtedly one of the most adorable couples in B-town. The two share sizzling chemistry both on and off-screen and also often indulge in social media PDA and it is just too cute! They are always shelling out major relationship goals and keep their fans entertained with their social media banter. Deepika Padukone will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak and also in ’83 in which she will play the role of Romi, wife of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, which will be portrayed by Ranveer Singh.
Now, Deepika Padukone has revealed a few tidbits from her personal life during her interaction with film critic Anupama Chopra at the Jio MAMI Movie Mela with Star, 2019. According to Hindustan Times, the Padmaavat actress shared that when Ranveer and her are together on set, they are very different than what they are otherwise. She revealed that the two even drive to set separately sometimes because they are in a different headspace. “We may not even sometimes drive together because we are in a different head space. It's not on purpose. There's no expectation of behaving like husband and wife or boyfriend and girlfriend when you're working,” said Deepika.
Deepika Padukone further added that on sets of ’83, she isn’t thinking whether Ranveer is her husband as she is constantly thinking of the scenes, her lines and her mind is completely occupied by that. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have both worked together in three films so far- Ramleela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. Ranveer Singh will next be seen in Kabir Khan’s ’83, in which he will play the role of Kapil Dev.
