Bollywood actors, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, are always a delight to watch. May it be their on-screen romantic chemistry or off-screen friendship, it’s always a delight to watch their media interaction. Recently, a fan page took to social media to share an old clip of the duo amidst a cute banter where they competed to see who performs on the song Ghoomar from Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial Padmaavat. Fans were in for a treat as the clip went viral.

In the video, Deepika can be seen wearing a bright yellow top with blue pants and Ranbir in a blue suit. The duo can be seen getting into a dance-off to see who knows the steps of the song well. It is Ranbir who wins the best performer tag and the actress jokingly starts arguing with the host because of it. For the unversed, the ex-couple fell in love while working together in the movie Bachna Ae Haseeno. They went on to date for a few years, but later broke up when reports of Ranbir cheating on Deepika with other actresses started doing rounds. They came back together and cemented their friendship when they collaborated for Ayan Mukerji’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Talking about their personal lives, both the actors are happily married to their respective spouses. Deepika tied the knot with Ranveer Singh in 2018. Ranbir married Alia Bhatt in 2022, they even welcomed their daughter Raha Kapoor in November.
They were last seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva, where Ranbir played the character Shiva and Deepika had a cameo as Shiva’s mother Amrita. While they never shared the screen space, fans have been hoping to see them together as the sequel of the film is said to be focused on Dev and Amrita.
