Deepika Padukone Steps Into Katrina Kaif’s Shoes, Will Attend Cannes 2017 As The L'Oreal Ambassador
After months of speculations, the popular women's care brand has made it official. Yes, Deepika Padukone is flying to Cannes this year as the L'Oreal brand ambassador
It was just a couple of years back that Katrina Kaif was appointed as the brand ambassador of L'Oreal. She was to be the third Bollywood actress after Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor to be named their brand ambassador. However, in October 2016, she decided to mutually part ways with the brand as she went ahead to open her own separate brand. And who did L'Oreal rope in to replace her?

The news of Deepika replacing Katrina has been doing the rounds since October last year, but there wasn't any official confirmation. However just a while ago, L'Oreal posted a picture on their Twitter account asking fans to guess who the next brand ambassador would be. The post had a picture of Deepika wearing a huge hat covering her face. Even though the face isn't visible, it's clear from the sides that it's none other than Deepika Padukone. The post has been captioned as, "The city of lights is getting brighter with our newest Star. Guess who she is using #ILoveParis and stand to win an exciting prizes!" This definitely clears the fact that Deepika would be going to Paris this year.
As the brand ambassador of L'Oreal, Deepika will be traveling to Paris to attend the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Deepika has earlier attended Cannes Film Festival in 2010. She wore an off-white saree to the red carpet. It was definitely not one of Deepika’s best appearances, but considering her style quotient has improved leaps and bounds, we’re looking forward to see what she dons in 2017!
