Bollywood actress Dia Mirza and businessman Vaibhav Rekhi tied the knot on Monday in an intimate wedding ceremony in Mumbai that was attended by their close friends and family members. It was a close-knit affair, and pictures and videos from the beautiful wedding ceremony went viral on social media in no time at all. Guests who attended the wedding have also been sharing glimpses, and suffice it to say, the wedding was indeed gorgeous! What’s more, is that the wedding ceremony was solemnized by a female priest, and that left people amazed. It’s not a common sight, for sure, and people were left amazed to see it.

Dia Mirza has shared several photos from her wedding with Vaibhav Rekhi, and one of them shows the couple seated in front of the holy fire, while an elderly woman priest recites mantras, and is seen pouring ghee into the fire. The actress was lauded by many in the comments section of this snap, and while one fan wrote, “priestess...living feminism in true sense", while another one wrote, “And if I am not wrong it is the lady pundit who is chanting the mantras." Now, Dia Mirza has shared yet another picture showing the elderly priestess conducting the wedding, and the actress thanked her.
