Diana Penty, Badshah To Recreate 1996 Hit Song Shehar Ki Ladki For Khandaani Shafakhana
A few days ago, Sonakshi Sinha starrer Khandaani Shafakhana dropped its official trailer and it guaranteed a fun ride for its viewers. The film will also see famous rapper Badshah make his movie debut.  The comedy drama is set to hit the theatres on 2nd August  and the trailer has received positive reaction from viewers so far.

According to Mumbai Mirror, the filmmakers are now planning to recreate the song Shehar Ki Ladki which is originally a hit song from 1996 film Rakshak. While the original song was composed by Anand Milind and featured Raveena Tandon and Suniel Shetty, the new version will feature rapper Badshah and actress Diana Penty- who has a special appearance in the movie.


As per the report port, the song will be shot today and tomorrow at a studio in Mumbai. A source told Mumbai Mirror, “Unlike the original track, which was filmed outdoors—from a railway station to a bridge the modern-day rendition is a conventional party number in a pub."


The remixed version has been recreated and rewritten by Tanishk Bagchi and is will be sung by Tulsi Kumar and Badshah, who will also be seen rapping in the song.


The movie, which was set to release on 26th July, but the makers have now decided to push it ahead by a week and will now release on 2nd August. This film will see Sonakshi essaying the role of a Punjabi girl from Hoshiyarpur. Khandaani Shafakhana stars Sonakshi Sinha, Varun Sharma, veteran actor Annu Kapoor and rapper Badshah in lead roles.
