Veteran actor Dharmendra has had his share struggles before making it big in Indian cinema. Now an owner of many expensive cars, the veteran superstar bought his first for Rs 18,000. He recently shared a video on Instagram, giving a glimpse of his first car - a Fiat model. The green coloured car despite being bought some 61 years ago is in a good condition, the actor added, it is because the car was properly taken care of for so many years.
Dharmendra captioned the post as, “Friends, FIAT my first car….. my beloved baby….God’s great blessing to a struggler (1960).” The number plate of the car will take us back in time when the registration id was just 3 letters followed by a 4-digit number. Dharmendra’s car number is MRX 9144. The legendary actor’s younger son, Bobby Deol reposted the video on Instagram with a heartfelt caption, “Love you Papa! And yes 9144 is not a car but a beautiful symbol of the journey that has brought us so far. Many many beautiful memories are anchored in there.”
Several celebrities and fans were amazed to see the actor’s affection for his first-ever bought car. Celebs such as Twinkle Khanna, Sophie Choudhry, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Darshan Kumaar, Gaurav Gera, Maniesh Paul, Kiku Sharda, Neil Nitin Mukesh were seen dropping some warm emoji on the veteran actor’s post.
