Bollywood's one of the most loved couples Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot yesterday, 14th April. The couple took the wedding vows in front of family members and close friends. As soon as the wedding pictures were shared by the actress, fans showered love on the couple. The wedding was attended by Kareena Kapoor Khan Khan, Karisma Kapoor among others.
Recently, Alia's brother Rahul Bhatt, who was also a part of the couple's big day, revealed that the couple got married in the most unique way. He revealed that unlike any other Indian wedding, the couple took four pheras instead of seven. He added that there was a special pandit who was very close to the Kapoors, he performed the wedding ritual with a different belief for the couple.
“So he explained the significance of each phera. Ek hota hain dharm ke liye, ek hota hain santaan ke liye, so it was really fascinating. We have not been exposed to this. I come from a household of multiple ethnicities. So, that was fascinating. There were not 7 pheras but 4 pheras for the record. And I was during all the 4 pheras," said Rahul Bhatt in an interaction with India Today.
According to BollywoodLife, the newly married couple will visit Mumbai's iconic Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai. Meanwhile, as per the recent update, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will not host a wedding reception. Confirming the same, choreographer Rajendra Singh, known as Masterji, told India Today, “Reception hain hi nahi (There is no reception). No, there’s nothing happening.”
