Dilip Kumar Dies At 98: Ranbir Kapoor Arrives At Late Actor’s Residence To Pay His Last Respect

After many celebs who are being clicked arriving at legendary actor Dilip Kumar’s residence to pay their last respect, joining the list is Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir Kapoor also arrived at the thespian’s residence sometime back to pay his last respect to the legend who left for his heavenly abode today morning. The actor was admitted to PD Hinduja Hospital was kept in ICU before he breathed his last. Ranbir was seen arriving at Dilip Saab's residence in a black kurta and pyjama.
Though not Ranbir Kapoor, the young actor’s father Rishi Kapoor worked with Dilip Kumar in an action film Duniya that released in 1984. Ranbir’s father played Dilip Kumar’s onscreen son in the movie. The movie was said to be a hit back then; this Dilip Kumar-Rishi Kapoor starrer had illustrious names attached to it. It was produced by Yash Johar and penned by Javed Akhtar. As soon as the news of Dilip Kumar leaving for heavenly abode was out, the film fraternity went numb. Many celebs paying their tribute recalled the time they spent with him.

Dilip Kumar was admitted to PD Hinduja Hospital in Khar in June after he complained of breathlessness. He was admitted to ICU, and was undergoing treatment for the ailments that occurred due to his age, informed his friend Faisal Farooqui. Now as per the latest reports in The Indian Express, a doctor from the hospital revealed the actor was suffering from advanced prostate cancer.
