Legendary actor Dilip Kumar passed away during the early hours on Wednesday due to an age-related illness. He was 98 and breathed his last in a Mumbai hospital. The actor was given State honours. His funeral proceedings began some time back and the actor was laid to rest at the Juhu Kabrastan in Santacruz. Dilip Kumar’s wife, Saira Banu, friends and family were present at his funeral and bid farewell to the legendary actor. In the latest pictures from Dilip Kumar’s funeral, superstar Amitabh Bachchan was clicked arriving with his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan.

The pictures and videos in the public domain show Amitabh Bachchan arriving for the final rites of Dilip Kumar. The superstar arrived to pay his final respects to the legendary actor. His son, Abhishek also accompanied his dad. Both were spotted at the grave of Dilip Kumar, praying for the departed soul.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan, Dharmendra, Ranbir Kapoor and several others visited Dilip Kumar’s residence to pay their final respects. Honourable Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray arrived with his son, Aditya Thackeray to offer condolences to Kumar’s bereaved family and pay their last respects. Celebrities Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and several others made posts and paid tributes. Dilip Kumar is known as one of the greatest actors in Indian cinema. He made his Indian cinema acting debut in 1944 and had a 50-year-long glorious career. Dilip Kumar is survived by his wife, actress Saira Banu.
