Dostana 2: Kartik Aaryan And Janhvi Kapoor’s Delhi Schedule Called Off Due To Severe Pollution
After completing the Chandigarh schedule of Dostana 2, the makers were all set to land in Delhi to commence the next set of scenes. But thanks to the severe pollution, the makers had to call off the film’s shoot in the capital. According to reports the "cast and crew couldn’t breathe”
Karan Johar took everyone by surprise when he announced the 2nd instalment of his hit franchise Dostana. Starring Janhvi Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan and Lakshya, who will mark his debut, Dostana 2 has been the talk of the town ever since. Dostana 2 is a sequel to Priyanka Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan, and John Abraham starrer Dostana which released in 2008. Just a few days back, the makers kick-started the Chandigarh schedule of the film.
Kartik had even shared the picture of the clapboard on his social media account. After completing the Chandigarh schedule of Dostana 2, the makers were all set to shoot for their Delhi portions. But thanks to the pollution, the makers had to call off the film’s shoot in the capital. According to the latest reports, the smog in the capital made it difficult for the cast and crew. A source close to the makers told Bollywood Hungama, “The cast and crew couldn’t breathe. Visibility was so low that the camera couldn’t capture the shots properly. It was a no-win situation. A few days back, Kartik Aaryan had announced the start of the shooting of Dostana 2 in Chandigarh. Sharing the news on his Instagram page, he wrote: “#Dostana2 Begins !!!”. Before commencing the shoot, Janhvi Kapoor had visited Golden Temple to seek the blessings.
Interestingly a few days back, Priyanka Chopra, who is also in the capital, had taken to social media to update about the unfriendly climate condition. The actress is in Delhi to shoot for her Netflix original film, The White Tiger opposite Rajkummar Rao.
