Ekta Kapoor Shifts Release Date Of Jabariya Jodi To Avoid Clash With Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30
Movies clashing at the box-office is a commonplace in Bollywood and year after year, we see a rise in the number of films releasing so it’s natural for films to clash at the ticket windows. But, when two people with a disturbing history decide to clash together, it creates fireworks.

Something similar was about to happen when Ekta Kapoor decided to release Kangana Ranaut starrer Mental Hai Kya on July 26 which was booked by Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30. Soon, we saw Hrithik gracefully shifting his film’s release date to July 12 to avoid giving birth to a new controversy. Now, Ekta has bowed out as she has shifted the release date of Jabariya Jodi that to avoid clashing with Super 30 on July 12.

Announcing the fresh date of release, Ekta on social media wrote, "Zabardasti release date change karwayaaa;) ! Dint wanna release between two eclipses ....So when too many releases came on that day .... we moved to 2 Nd August !!!!! See u at the theatres"

For those who missed it, here’s what Hrithik had tweeted while moving the release date of Super 30. “So as to not allow my film to be desecrated by yet another media circus, I have decided to shift the release date of my film SUPER30 in order to save myself from the personal trauma and toxic mental violence this would cause. Despite the film being ready, I have requested my producers to shift and announce the next suitable date as soon as possible.”
