In the 2014 Hollywood comedy Chef, Jon Favreau plays a portly chef who lives in his cargo pants and sweaty shirts.
Saif Ali Khan steps into his shoes in the Hindi remake of Chef but he will look a lot more dapper.
SpotboyE.com has exclusive pictures of Saif shooting for the film in the streets of New York and he is dressed in a rather chic coat.
And with this Saif Ali Khan has returned to sets after a brief paternity leave. The star and wife Kareena Kapoor welcomed their first child, Taimur Ali Khan, in December.
Like the American film, the Hindi remake revolves around a professional chef who after a public altercation with a food critic quits his job at a popular restaurant and returns to his home town to fix up a food truck.
On the culinary road he reconnects with his estranged ex-wife and young son while selling street food in cities along the way.The role was played to perfection by Jon Favreau who had also written, produced and directed the film which also starred Sofia Vergara and Scarlett Johansson.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra and Bandra West Pictures, the Bollywood remake is being helmed by director Raja Krishna Menon.
