A video of Farah Khan removing the mask and smelling the mangoes surfaced online and netizens trolled her for the same
Ever since the COVID-19 has hit everyone’s lives, the government set some rules in order to curb the spread including washing your hands for 20 secs, sanitising hands and objects, putting masks outdoors or even maintaining distance from people. While there are some rules that people made out of fear and concern. However, when netizens saw filmmaker Farah Khan removing her mask and smelling the mangoes, they were appalled. They called it an ‘unhygienic’ act and ended up trolling her.
Just sometime back, a video of Farah buying mangoes from a fruit seller surfaced online. In the video, Farah is voluntarily seen pulling her mask down to sniff the fruit and some people in the comments section were certainly not okay with the act, considering the horror times and active cases in Maharashtra. Among many, one said, “Don't smell it lady. Whats the use of wearing that mask anyway if you are putting that mango right at your nose?” While another one commented, “How stupid she can be..? Smelling mangoes in this Covid situation. So many must have touched those mangoes. #dumb”.
There was one more who wrote, “Mask utaar ke aam kaun soonghta hai COVID time mei wo bhi Maharashtra mein !!oh bhai maro mujhe! Common sense bech k aam khareed liye kya? In the video, Farah could be heard asking the vendor to give her a ripe mango as she wanted to consume it right away.
Meanwhile, during the initial days of lockdown, Farah shared a video where she had reprimanded certain Bollywood personalities for posting workout videos during the pandemic. She blasted them for bombarding her with workout videos and asked them to simply stop it immediately.
