Farah Khan: There Is NO Shah Rukh Khan In My Next
It is surprising but that’s what Farah has said. As the talented director revealed details about her next film, she also confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan won’t be a part of it
Farah Khan who has entertained us with her hit films like Main Hoon Na (2004), Om Shanti Om (2007) and Happy New Year (2014) is now ready with her next film.
While a lot of you will be thinking that like all her films in the past, this one too will feature Shah Rukh Khan. But NO, it won’t.
In a recent interview to news daily, while Farah Khan spoke about her forthcoming film, she also confirmed about SRK not being a part of the film. Her next is based on a subject Farah has never attempted. It is based on two girls and is different from her usual masala films.
While talking to a section of media she said, "When I meet parents in my children's school, they say there aren't good films for kids to watch. I wonder about the lack of such films too. What do my kids watch? One should be able to take the whole family along to watch a film... like Happy New Year... Either I make a movie like that or try something new. There is always a dilemma. So, I am going to attempt something new - the subject of my next film is a story about two girls."

Revealing a bit more about the stature of the film, she said, “Let me tell you, this is a small film with a big idea, but it will also become larger than life. Small in the sense that there is no Shah Rukh Khan in it. But let's not call it 'a small film' otherwise no popular heroine will work in it. I feel the urge to make an indie film or something like the recent Lion. It was lovely. The problem is that I'm not capable of writing such scripts. I am being honest that I need someone to help me and give it to me on a platter."
With no experience in writing a film of this nature and with her buddy SRK also not being a part of it; let’s see how well Farah fairs in it.
